Anyone with your link can reserve a gift, no account needed. You never see who. Everyone else just sees it’s taken, so nobody buys it twice.

## Who sees what

| Person | What they can see |
| --- | --- |
| List owner | Never sees who reserved the gift. Mystery mode also hides whether it’s reserved. |
| Person reserving | Sees their reservation and an Undo button. |
| Other guests | See that the gift is taken, so nobody buys it twice. |

## How it works

- Share one link. Guests don’t need an account.
- A guest taps Reserve. It’s taken for everyone, instantly.
- Wrong gift? They can undo it.

## Hints, not spoilers

Want to know something was reserved? Turn on alerts. They say a gift was reserved, never by whom. Want to know nothing? Mystery mode.

The same rule holds when an AI assistant is connected. No tool can reveal who reserved a gift.

## Questions

### Can the person I’m buying for see I reserved it?

They never see who. With reservation alerts on, they’re told a gift was reserved. With Mystery mode, nothing.

### Do I need an account to reserve a gift?

No. Anyone with the link can.

### What if two people go for the same gift?

Once one reserves it, it shows as taken for everyone else.

### Can I undo a reservation?

Yes. You’ll see Reserved with an Undo button.

### Is this free?

Yes. Reservations are part of free Bestboy.
