Bestboy helps you collect wishes, share them with people you trust, and keep gifts from being bought twice. These Terms explain the ground rules for the website, native apps, browser extension, and related services (together, the “Service”).
The Service is provided by House of MA s.r.o., ID No. 300 39 479, with its registered seat at Příčná 1892/4, 110 00 Prague 1, the Czech Republic, file No. C 455543 maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague (“House of MA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using Bestboy, you agree to these Terms.
You may use Bestboy for personal, lawful purposes. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account; when you sign up, you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we may close it. Some parts work without an account; creating, managing, following, or saving wishes may require one. Keep your details accurate, use a password you do not reuse elsewhere, and keep sign-in links, API keys, and devices secure. You are responsible for activity through your account.
You keep ownership of the text, links, images, and other material you add. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, display, back up, and transmit it so the Service works — for example, to show a shared list.
Please only add content you have the right to use. Do not use Bestboy to break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, share personal information without permission, send spam, distribute malware, or harass people. We may remove content or suspend access where needed to protect people, the Service, or the law.
A shared-list link is easy to pass around. Anyone who receives it may see the content and details you choose to share, so treat it like an invitation rather than a secret vault. You can make a list private again or create a fresh link.
Reserving a wish is a courtesy signal, not a purchase, contract, payment, or guarantee that an item is available. Bestboy does not sell linked items and is not the merchant for third-party stores. Check a retailer’s price, stock, shipping, returns, and terms before buying. A reservation is designed not to reveal the giver’s identity to the list owner where the feature says it will; it is not a promise of anonymity from everyone using the same device.
Bestboy may let a list owner display bank-transfer details or a donation preference. We do not process, receive, verify, refund, or guarantee payments. Transfers happen directly between the people involved and are governed by the bank or payment provider they choose. Only add payment details you are entitled to share.
The Bestboy iOS app, browser extension, and any future native app are part of the Service. They may ask for a device permission only for a feature you choose to use, such as microphone access for a spoken wish or a photo you select.
You can choose to connect an AI assistant or script through an API key or MCP connection; section 6 sets out the terms for that. Third-party retailers and websites have their own terms and privacy policies.
Bestboy provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and API keys so an AI assistant or script you choose, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can use your Bestboy account on your behalf. Bestboy is an evolving online service. We may improve, change, pause, or retire features to keep the Service secure, comply with law, or fix a problem. We aim to give reasonable notice when a material change affects how you use a paid feature. We do not promise that every feature will be available at all times or on every device.
Bestboy Plus. Plus is a paid subscription. The price, billing interval and any taxes are shown before you pay. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Manage Plus in your account, and cancelling stops future renewals.
You can stop using Bestboy whenever you like. You can initiate permanent account deletion from Account settings in the web app and iOS app. Deleting an account removes the account and associated content, subject only to limited information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup-recovery reasons. See our Privacy Policy for details. We may suspend or end access if you materially break these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons.
Bestboy is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it useful and secure, but cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, House of MA is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal data. It is part of these Terms. Our Cookie Policy explains your choices over optional web analytics.
We may update these Terms as Bestboy changes. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where reasonable.
